This website, sampowers.com.au, is operated by Powerful Entertainment, trading as Sam Powers — corporate magician and illusionist, providing entertainment for corporate events, galas, conferences, product launches and private functions across Australia and internationally. This policy is written with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) in mind.

When you use an enquiry form, we collect your name and email address, and where you choose to share them your phone number, company, event date, event type, guest numbers, budget and the contents of your message, so Sam can respond to your enquiry with a tailored quote.

If you join our mailing list, we collect the name and email address you enter so we can send you updates.

When you submit an enquiry form, your IP address is passed to Cloudflare Turnstile to confirm you are a genuine visitor and protect the site from spam and abuse. We do not store your IP address or browser details with your enquiry.

This site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies and collects information such as your IP address, device type, pages visited and how you arrived at the site. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally to us.

This site also runs a visitor-identification pixel from ReachInbox (see “Visitor Identification and Marketing” below), which records the pages you view and how you arrived, and works with a third-party identity partner to associate that visit with business contact details.

Enquiry form submissions are delivered to Sam by email through Resend, an email delivery service. Enquiries are sent by email only and are not stored in a website database.

Mailing list contacts are stored with Resend so we can send you updates until you unsubscribe.

Your information is used solely to respond to your enquiry, arrange bookings, send updates you have asked for, follow up with prospective clients, and operate and improve the website. Your details are never sold. Information is kept only as long as needed for these purposes, and you may request deletion at any time.

To help Sam reach businesses that show interest in his services, this site uses ReachInbox, a visitor-identification and outreach tool. On each page view it shares the page address and referring source, together with information about your visit, with ReachInbox and its identity partner, which attempt to match the visit to business contact details so Sam can follow up.

This is used for business-to-business marketing only. If you would prefer not to receive follow-up contact, email magic@sampowers.com.au and we will remove your details and not contact you again.

Cookies and similar technologies are used by Google Analytics and by the services above to recognise your device and understand how the site is used. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

The following third parties process data on this site’s behalf: Cloudflare (website hosting, security and bot protection via Turnstile), Google (Google Analytics, and the Google Places API used to display reviews), Resend (email delivery and mailing list), and ReachInbox (website visitor identification for marketing).

The site also embeds videos from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode and links to platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn and TikTok. These platforms have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

Some of our service providers, including Google, Resend, Cloudflare and ReachInbox, are based in or store data in the United States and other countries. By using this site or submitting an enquiry, you consent to your information being handled by these providers overseas.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by emailing magic@sampowers.com.au. If you have a privacy concern we cannot resolve, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with reputable providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and retain it only as long as necessary.

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information through this site, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date below reflects the latest revision, and material changes will be posted on this page.
